Follow Along as Newhouse NYC Students Live-Tweet Their Days

Over the next couple weeks, Newhouse NYC students are live-tweeting from the @NewhouseNYC Twitter handle to give you a behind-the-scenes look of what their days are like in the city this semester.

MOST DELICIOUS THING I’VE EATEN IN NYC: Because it is fall I am very into warm comfort food right now. I enjoyed the Roasted Carrot Soup at Lucy’s Whey.
FAVORITE NEWHOUSE NYC SPEAKER SO FAR AND WHY: Doug Melville. He is such an inspiring alumnus with a very unbelievable story and his energy is infectious. I enjoyed every minute of my time listening to him speak at TBWA.

FAVORITE NEWHOUSE NYC SPEAKER SO FAR AND WHY: Andy Meyer from Tremendous Entertainment. He was extremely personable and gave a lot of very practical advice and nuggets of wisdom to those of us that got to speak with him after the panel.

FAVORITE NEWHOUSE NYC SPEAKER SO FAR AND WHY: Darian Harvin has been one of my favorite speakers so far because I was able to see how successful a recent college graduate can be, as well as learn how she was able to reach many of her career goals in such a short amount of time.

All of the other TRF majors and I got to sit down with him one on one and talk about his past experiences and how he foresees the future of video content and entertainment, which made for an extremely interesting and inspiring conversation.
